Obi-Wan Kenobi Is Dead, Vader Says Daring Fireball The Galactic Empire Times: In a late-night appearance in the East Room of the Imperial Palace, Lord Vader declared that “justice has been done” as he disclosed that agents of the Imperial Army and stormtroopers of the 501st Legion had finally cornered Kenobi, one of the leaders of the Jedi rebellion, who had eluded the...

O's Two days in a row
Beautiful day for baseball today, except for the downpour I got caught in on the way home. I was soaked, clothes are still not dry.
O's vs. Yankees
First O’s game of the year. Yankee’s win 15-3, not fun.
Lunch
Today’s lunch at Conrad’s. Yummy crab cake.

Bedroom Archaeology
I was at my parents house, and going through some stuff in my old room, and pulled my old Walkman out of a box. Oh the times we had together. Twenty years of dust on it gave it a ancient appearance.

Steven Seagal And Racist Arizona Sheriff Bust Alleged Cockfighting Ring With A Tank [Cocks] Deadspin In a massively weird turn of events, Steven Seagal and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio rolled up on a man suspected of raising chickens for cockfighting. Seagal was in Arizona a couple weeks ago filming an episode of Lawman when...

Amazon Recomendations
Is it me or do Amazon recommendations suck? I mean come on Amazon you have years of my past purchase history, and you base the first recomendations I see on books that are on my “wish list”? I put one novel about ancient greece on the list, now every single book is about mythology.
Japan Earthquake
The earthquake in Japan titled the Earth’s axis and shifted the coastline 2.5 meters. That is mind boggling. http://www.monstersandcritics.com/news/asiapacific/news/article_1625550.php/Q…
Portlandia
I finished the 6th episode of Portlandia last night. Absoulty hilarous, a really great show. Wish there were a few more episodes, but hopefully it will come back for a second season. Fred Armisen is so funny, and Carrie Browstein is surpising comical. Love, her music so it was great to see here in sketch comedy show. So if you have not checked it out yet, do yourself a favor. Facebook Messages
Remember all the hype about the new Facebook messages? I do not really use Facebook but was excited to see it in action. I applied for the beta a long time still have received and invite. The read it was being rolled to everyone in the next two weeks, that was about three weeks ago. Still no new Facebook messages, what a let down.
Instapaper 3.0
I am a huge instapaper fan. It one of the few iPhone/iPad apps I use everyday. I love the idea of being able to find articles on the web and save them for later. The added bonus for me is the stripping of all the ads and other I do not need to see. I use it everyday on my twitter feed for archaeological news @w_archaeology. Love doing a search for new news, then hitting read later. It allows me...

Just had a worker at Costco ask me if I needed to go potty, I am 32 years old and the answer was yes.
The Verdict
The verdict of Bubbalou’s, good actually really good. I had the sliced pork sandwich with the fire sauce. The surprise of the evening was the fried mac & cheese nuggets did in BBQ sauce, just awesome.

Lendle
If you have a kindle, or kindle app you need to check out Lendle. Lendle allows you to borrow books from other kindle users. Right now there is not a huge selection, but considering its free beggers can’t be choosers. So do yourself a favor and head over to Lendle.
Can you believe?
Can you believe that it has been two months since my last post. Crazy! I tend to only post when there are interesting things going on in my life, which I guess there has not been the last few months. I leave for a mini vacation on Wednesday hopefully that will spice things up.

Sorry, People, Nothing Will Keep You From Getting a Cold [Health Watch] Lifehacker Here’s the annual article pointing out that Vitamin C and Echinacea won’t prevent or reduce the symptoms of a cold. You’ll have to suffer through it, take a day off, blow your nose, and watch daytime TV like everyone else. More »...
Chrome Apps?
I love Chrome as a browser but I am really confused by the apps. Every single one I have “installed” has been basically a webpage. Are there any good ones out there, that actually feel like an app?
